EVENTS – GRAVESEND | Sacred Kirtan
Heart centred music and Conscious songs for Solstice
with Sivani Mata & Michelle
Sunday 17 June 2018 | 6:30pm – 10pm
at Saint Andrews Arts Centre,
19 Royal Pier Road, Gravesend, Kent
Join us to share in Kirtan. Singing the profoundly healing sounds of sanskrit mantra effortlessly drops our awareness out of our busy minds and into our hearts. Kirtan is from the path of Bhakti Yoga (pure love and compassion) and responds to where you are and what you need in that moment, whether that is to bring you to a space of calm or elation. It can be deeply moving and incredibly joyful. Sivani Mata and Michelle Crozier will accompany these healing sounds with live music (harmonium & drum) to support our beautiful journey. Come add your heart and voice to the melting pot.
Investment: £15 and pre booking is advisable. A vegan supper will be available for £5 on the night. Tasty snacks and Beverages will be extra. Contact Sam for tickets or further information on 07888 821524
This is a conscious event so please come in this spirit. There will be some time after the Kirtan (6:30pm - 8:30pm) for connecting with each other, munching something sweet and tea.
Any income from this event will first cover the cost of the visiting musicians and running costs of the event. Any remainder will be donated to the Rigul trust charity which provides welfare projects and poverty relief amongst diverse good efforts in the Rigul region of Tibet.
